Delta's Stockholm to New York Service Returns for Summer 2015
OREANDA-NEWS. Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will once again be offering nonstop flights between between Stockholm's Arlanda Airport and New York John F. Kennedy International Airport for the 2015 summer season.
Flights will begin four times a week from June 5, 2015, increasing to five times a week from June 15, 2015. The U.S. airline has scheduled a Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 164 seats on the route, which is operated in conjunction with Delta's joint venture partners Air France KLM.
"According to data from Statistics Sweden, there was a 17 percent rise in the number of U.S. visitors to Stockholm in 2013 compared to 2010," said Perry Cantarutti, Delta's senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa. "Delta is proud to continue to facilitate this growth and support the local economy through the return of our flights next summer."

Delta's Sweden services feature fully flat-bed seats and a range of dining options in the BusinessElite cabin. Customers flying in Economy Comfort, Delta's premium economy service, benefit from up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Delta's standard international Economy class seats, as well as priority boarding. Throughout the aircraft, all passengers will have access to on-demand in-flight entertainment. Wi-Fi is also being rolled out across Delta's international fleet with completion due in 2016.
As one of Delta's hub airports, New York-JFK has a number of amenities for passengers, including multiple food and retail outlets. Terminal 4 is also home to Delta's largest Sky Club, featuring an open air Sky Deck rooftop terrace and specially-selected food and beverage options. All BusinessElite passengers enjoy complimentary access to the Sky Club.
