OREANDA-NEWS. In early 2015, Altai Engine Plant OJSC (AMZ, under management of Tractor Plants Concern KKU LLC) will supply first engines to Gomelselmash OJSC (Belorussia) for the further localization of assembly production of grain combine harvesters under the trademark of Altai-PALESSE on the base of Lenkovsky SelMashZavod in the Altai territory.

Recently, specialists of Altai Engine Plant were on a business trip in the city of Gomel where they discussed a number of important issues, the main of which was constructive connection of Diesel engines of AMZ OJSC to machines of Gomelselmash OJSC.

It should be noted that as early as at this stage of interaction, management of the enterprise in Gomel expressed interest in both installation of Diesel engines of AMZ on machines assembled in Altai and deliveries to their own main assembly conveyor.

Earlier, necessity to implement this project was confirmed in Novosibirsk upon signing an agreement on trade, economic and cultural cooperation between the Government of Belarus and Administration of Altai territory in the course of conduction of Days of Belarus in Siberia.

To complete pilot samples, motor manufacturers of Tractor Plants in Altai will provide to their partners in Gomel two and two engines of capacity of 330 and 250 hp for each model of harvesters (КZS-1218 and КZS-10К).

“Diesel engines manufactured by AMZ OJSC are well known among machine builders and experts in Russia and abroad due to their reliability, efficient performance, serviceability and fair value, said Alexander Kamenev, Executive Director of Altai Engine Plant OJSC. These factors turn our products into sought-after on the market and, as the market showed, our products fully meet expectations of the most demanding consumers. I am sure that implementation of this project between Russia and Belorussia would confirm it once again.”
