Russian Appetite Manages business with BSC-Model Based on QlikView
OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Appetite Group of companies has moved to the management model of Balanced Scorecard. GMCS (a subsidiary of MAYKOR) has participated in elaboration of BI solution for end users. The solution allows effectively and quickly analyzing the key performance indicators and making strategic decisions.
The management model based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC), which authors are professors Robert Kaplan and David Norton, is used by the largest companies all around the world. The Russian appetite has implemented the BSC methods in the business to increase effectiveness of the strategic and operational management. Taking into account the development strategy the Russian appetite's specialists has developed the system of interrelated goals cards and KPI, about 200 indicators. Today the enterprise uses three-level indicators system of company as a whole to the level of individual units. BI solution based on QlikView has solved tasks of data collection and optimal visualization of BSC cards. It consists of the corporate database, analytic component on the base of QlikView and web-interface. The solution supports versioning of goals cards, approval process of the target model.
The BI-solution is a unified tool to perform the corporate development strategy and underlies in decision-making. It helps the Russian appetite's specialists to create the BSC cards in 4 business prospects (potential, processes, clients and results), as well as assess goal achievement, correct, analyze the KPI data. The solutions allows planning of goals metric and their target values for all levels of management.
