OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2014. BNP Paribas announced the appointment of Peter Kwok as Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas (China) Ltd.

Based in Shanghai, Peter Kwok will take charge of leading and managing the various business lines, client facing units and functions of BNP Paribas (China) Ltd in close coordination with BNP Paribas Group’s regional teams. He will report to Paul Yang, the Group’s Regional Head for Greater China and Chairman of BNP Paribas (China) Ltd*, and the Board of Directors.

Peter Kwok is a seasoned banker with long and extensive experience in China. He joined BNP Paribas (China) Ltd as Managing Director in 2007. His latest position is Deputy CEO and Head of Corporate Banking.

Peter Kwok is succeeding Clarence T’ao who will be appointed as Head of Emerging Asian Markets at BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia Pacific, focusing on capturing opportunities and developing business in the new Asian markets.
