OREANDA-NEWS. According to Rosstat, the production of trucks in January-November was 139,000 units, which is less by 25.8% than a year ago. Last month, the Russian assembly plants produced 14,000 trucks - it is less by 38.6% than a year before.

It should be noted that due to the fall in demand in the Russian market KAMAZ suspended the production of trucks in November for a few days and it moved to a four-day mode, which will operate in the company until at least the end of this year. The company Volvo Group opened in Kaluga the plant of production of cabs for Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks. The design capacity of the plant is 15,000 cabs per year, investment in its creation - is about 90 million Euros.

Production of buses fell by 20.6% to 38.3 thousand units in Russia for eleven months of 2014. At the same time in November bus plants produced about 4.2 thousand vehicles - it is less by 19.1% than a year before.
