Insurers are forced to increase rates, it leads to the fact that fewer and fewer people make out comprehensive insurance. It was announced by the general director of "Ingosstrakh", Mikhail Volkov.

As a result, insurance companies are forced to raise rates of KASKO, and people are less willing to insure road risks. As a result, the market of voluntary auto insurance decreased, writes "Za rulem.RF."

Until the end of the year KASKO rates rise by 15-20%. The specialist does not undertake to predict growth, which will undergo this type of insurance in the next year, it all depends on the exchange rate, and from it in its turn by 80-85% depends the price of car repairs. All can come to the fact that mainly vehicles purchased on credit will be insured by KASKO, because there's no escape, or this insurance branch would have to restructure significantly.

The situation with CTP business is not the best way. Experts believe that all the reforms, taken over the last year, improved the situation only slightly, but it was not changed radically.

Meanwhile, it was announced that the two companies - "Express Guarantor" and "Zurich reliable Insurance" - announced about a voluntary withdrawal from the Russian Union of Auto Insurers. The first company deals with "CTP" from June 6, 2003, the second - from June 21st, 2006. In this regard, the president of Russian Union of Auto Insurers, Paul Bunin, said that in many regions there is such a situation when the insurance company becomes unprofitable to operate. Since 2010, from 64 insurers left the register of members of the RUA, including: 4 insurance companies left it voluntarily, 16 - reorganized by way of merger, 43 - are excluded from the RUA members. Today, full members of the RUA are 99 companies.
