OREANDA-NEWS. The Indian Railways took an initiative to provide safe accommodation at New Delhi Railway Station and at Hotel Ginger, New Delhi Railway Station to 45 female students who were left stranded due to the last minute cancellation of two Spice Jet evening flights to Chennai, yesterday.

As an extra measure, the Indian Railways attached an extra 3 Tier AC Coach in the Chennai Rajdhani today i.e. 17.12.2014, to ensure that these students travel to Chennai safely.

The Railways’ gesture has received good appreciations in social media with several persons registering their ‘likes’.
