OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2014. EURO FINANCE WEEK takes place in Frankfurt every November. It provides an opportunity for financial market participants to present their achievements, plans and forecasts and also discuss the challenges and prospects for the sector’s development.

A regular attendee at EURO FINANCE WEEK, this year Center-invest Bank had an exhibition stand under the banner “Transformational Banking: made in Russia”. This is the title of the most recent book by chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-invest Bank, Dr Vasily Vysokov.

Visitors to the Center-invest Bank stand received information about our achievements in the first three quarters of this year and our strategy to transition to a new banking model based on creative and socially responsible solutions for sustainable development. Our European colleagues were impressed by Center-invest Bank’s performance (ROE = 15%) and our transformational banking business model was of considerable interest. Among the visitors to our stand were Dimitris Tsitsiragos, IFC Vice President, Bruno Wenn, head of the German Investment and Development Company (DEG), and Yves Mersch, member of the European Central Bank’s board. We also spoke with representatives of European banks and financial companies.

During the event, Dr Vasily Vysokov presented his new book and participated in meetings and discussions about the future of the financial markets. These included discussions with central bank officials at the European Banking Congress.

The EURO FINANCE WEEK delegates agreed that it is essential to engage in dialogue and be receptive to changes that create opportunities to stabilise the global financial system and strengthen cooperation among banks.

From the discussions it was clear that Center-invest Bank does not just keep abreast of developments in banking: we are at the cutting edge of global trends in the financial sector. By implementing a transformational banking business model, Center-invest Bank is making an important contribution to the industry’s development.
