OREANDA-NEWS. Due to the adoption of the EUR currency in Lithuania as from 1 January 2015, all branches of the bank DNB as of 13th December shall suspend any cash transactions in Lithuanian litas.

Cashless transactions:

  • The last day for acceptance of standard payments in LTL by the bank DNB will be 29th December.
  • Payments in litas (LTL) marked as “express” at DNB branches will be accepted till 1:30 p.m. on 30th December, while at DNB internet-bank till 2 p.m. on 30th December.
  • Transactions in litas (LTL) made after the above deadlines will be rejected and the amounts refunded to the remitter’s account.
