The 15th China International Offshore Oil & Gas Exhibition (ciooe) will be held at Beijing New International Exhibition Center on March 26-28, 2015, simultaneously with The 5th International Offshore Engineering Technology & Equipment Exhibition (China Maritime) and the 15th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe).

In 2014, ciooe, cippe and China Maritime together gathered 1,800 exhibitors from 65 countries and regions, including 46 Fortune 500 companies and 16 international delegations, with a combined exhibition area of 90,000 square meters and a total of 65,000 visitors. Among the exhibitors were well-renowned companies and institutions including DNV, Panama Maritime Authority, ROSNEFT, Baker Hughes, NOV, GE, CAMERON, Schneider, Honeywell, API, Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU, Tyco, Atlas Copco, Aker Solutions, JOTUN, HEMPEL, PANASIA, SIEMENS, ABB, HELKAMA, CCS, CSSC, CSIC, CNOOC, CNPC, SINOPEC, CIMC RAFFLES, Yuexin Ocean Engineering, L&H, TISCO, KAITAI GROUP and JULI SLING. And the events were reported by over 1,000 media including Xinhua News Agency, People Daily, CCTV, China Daily, China Petroleum Daily, TradeWinds, Upstream and Wall Street Journal.

Among visitors to ciooe 2014 were the world’s leading offshore support vessel owners including Ulstein (Norway), Bourbon (France), McDermott (US), Icon Offshore (Malaysia), POSH Semco (Singapore), Bhagwan Marine (Australia), COSCO, COSL, CSTanker, Sinotrans-CSC and Cosco-Shipyard. Also present were over 100 professional purchasers, including CNPC, SINOPEC, CNOOC, Overseas Project Department of CNODC, China Petrolum Pipeline Bureau, Saudi Aramco, Shell, Total, Gazprom, Rosneft, Conoco Phillips, Statoil, Petrobras, Sudapet and Naftogaz. The simultaneous Offshore Engineering and Maritime Summit also received high praise of the industry organizations and government authorities.

It is estimated that in the next five years, the world’s annual demand for offshore oil and gas equipment will be worth between USD60 billion and 75 billion. China, holding 24.6 billion tons of offshore oil resources and 1.6 trillion cubic meters of offshore gas resources, is expected to invest between RMB 250 billion and 300 billion in offshore engineering equipment in the coming five years.

Under these circumstances, ciooe aims to create a high-level exhibition platform for the global offshore oil and gas industry, facilitating technology cooperation and application of advanced offshore oil and gas equipment.
