OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 December 2014, the Supervisory Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, decided to extend the powers of the Chairman of the Management Board, Mr. Tiit Roben and the Members of the Management Board, Mr. Jaan M?e and Mr. Veljo Viitmann for three years, i.e. from 1 January 2015 until 31 December 2017. The Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti will continue with four members: Tiit Roben (The Chairman), Jaan M?e, Veljo Viitmann and Alar Lagus.

The Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus decided to extend the powers of the Members of the Supervisory Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, Mr. Andres Trink, Mr. T?nu Toomik and Mr. Teet Roopalu from 1 January 2015 until 31 December 2017. The Board appointed Mr. Toomas Aak as the new member of the Supervisory Board from 1 January 2015 until 31 December 2017. The former member, Mr. Taavi Ojala?s term ends on 31 December 2014. The Supervisory Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti will continue with four members: Mr. Andres Trink (The Chairman), Mr. T?nu Toomik, Mr. Teet Roopalu and Mr. Toomas Aak.

According to the Articles of association of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, the Member of the Management and Supervisory Board is appointed for three years.

AS Merko Ehitus comprises the leading Estonian construction company AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, the Latvian market based SIA Merks and the Lithuanian market based UAB Merko Statyba as well as the group’s real estate development business unit together with companies holding real estate properties. As at the end of 2013, the group employed 860 people and the 2013 revenue amounted to EUR 262.7 million.
