OREANDA-NEWS. Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. (“J-POWER”) has concluded formulation of measures for reinforcing safety at the Ohma Nuclear Power Plant based on the new safety standards enacted by the Nuclear Regulatory Authority (as announced on November 13, 2014).

J-POWER hereby gives notice that it will submit to the Nuclear Regulatory Authority an application for permission for alteration of reactor installment license and an application for construction plan approval tomorrow (December 16, 2014) in order to undertake review of compliance with the new safety standards based on the content of the measures mentioned above.
