SUEK Brigade Sets New Russian Coal Production Record
OREANDA-NEWS. On December the 10th Vasiliy Vatokin's drigade of #1 division of "November 7th" mine (OJSC "SUEK-Kuzbass") set new Russian record in coal excavation during the year from one mining face - 4 mln 631 thousands tones. Previous record was set by Vladimir Melnik's brigade at "Kotinskaya" mine of OJSC "SUEK-Kuzbass" in 2007. The new record is up by 247 thousand tones.
All coal is brought to grass from #1380 longwall, where operations were started in February this year. The extracting seam thickness is 4,6 meters. The work face is equipped with SL-500 combine, SH PF 4/1032 longwall conveyer (Germany) and 166 "Tagor 24/50" (Poland) support units, equipped with MARCO (Germany) multifunctional electro-hydraulic control system.
During the year, Vasiliy Vatokin and his brigade have won the title of "Days of high production" 25 times. The new Russian record was followed by Governor's reception at the mine.
Aman Tuleyev, Governor of Kemerovo region, thanked the employees for their high professionalism. The governor noted their work spirit and teamwork, high discipline, patience and persistence that made the brigade the leader at the mine, as well as in whole Kuzbass and Russia. - "I'm certain that we have more records and achievements ahead of us to celebrate", - said Aman Tuleev to the miners, - "on behalf of our countrymen I want to thank you for your input in development of the region, your responsibility, loyalty and will to win".
Regional awards were presented at the ceremony. Vasiliy Vatokin was honored by the title of "Kuzbass' hero". Sergei Baikin, the deputy mechanic of the division won the special nomination of Kemerovo region government - "Breakthrough to the future". Aleksandr Scherbukhin, working face miner received "Kuzbass winner" title of honor. Sergei Morozov, head of working face team and working face team miner Vitalii Yakunin were honored with "Valorous Miner's Labour"
