OREANDA-NEWS. Nasdaq (NASDAQ: NDAQ) announces that Estonian Prime Minister Taavi R?ivas accompanied with the state and business delegations will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York's Times Square and meet the members of Nasdaq’s top management team on Friday.

The visit to the Nasdaq MarketSite is part of the working visit of Mr Taavi R?ivas to the United States of America on December 6-14. The visit is focused on the bilateral relations between Estonia and the US and on economic cooperation and security issues.

The official state delegation is accompanied by a business delegation, including Rauno Klettenberg, the CEO of Nasdaq Tallinn and several AmCham Estonia members.

On Monday, the delegation participated in the Business Forum “e-Estonia and the Digital Society” at Draper University and in the inauguration ceremony of Mr Steve Jurvetson and Mr Tim Draper as the first Americans to hold an e-residency in Estonia. The delegation also visited the offices of renowned technology companies in Silicon Valley area, including Google, Tesla, Microsoft and an Estonian-born start-up GrabCAD.

In addition, the Prime Minister held a lecture about security and economic growth issues at the Stanford University and gave a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations.
