OREANDA-NEWS. Following a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Listing Commission, as of December 12, 2014 ordinary shares KYG876361091 (GG_TPL_) of Tethys Petroleum Limited (Cayman Islands) are removed from KASE official list at request of their issuer.

In KASE conclusion of December 5, 2014 it is said that KASE received from Tethys Petroleum Limited the following documents:

- an application of December 5, 2014 for voluntary delisting of the mentioned shares;

- a copy of the registry of holders of the mentioned shares according to which as of June 12, 2014 there were 36 legal entities holding shares of Tethys Petroleum Limited, including major shareholders: Royal Bank of Canada (Toronto, Canada; 29.1 % of the total number of outstanding shares of Tethys Petroleum Limited), Citibank Canada (Toronto, Canada; 26.1 %), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (Toronto, Canada; 16.1 %) and State Street Bank and Trust Company (Boston, USA; 10,8 %);

- an extract from the minutes of an extraordinary general meeting of Tethys Petroleum Limited shareholders held on June 12, 2014 where a decision was taken on voluntary delisting of the mentioned shares.

Based on the above-mentioned and in accordance with sub-item 1) item 1 of article 19 of KASE internal document "Listing Rules" the mentioned shares were delisted.

The mentioned shares were included in KASE official list's third category as of November 9, 2009. Trade in them opened as of November 25, 2012. During their circulation on KASE no deals involving them were made.
