Belarus' Foreign Debt Reduces 0.9% in October 2014 to USD 14.952bn
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' state foreign debt went down 0.9% on the month in October 2014 to U.S. USD 14.952 billion as of November 1, 2014 by the International Monetary Fund's Special Data Dissemination Standards, reads the website of the Finance Ministry.
The government's long-term debt accounted for 86.3% of the total foreign debt in October 2014 (86.4% in September 2014), the government's short-term debt for 0 (0), and foreign loans to companies' against the government's security for 13.7% (13.6%).
In 2013, the foreign debt increased 7.4% to USD 14.6 billion.
Belarus' main creditors are the IMF, the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund, Russia, Venezuela, Germany, the U.S. and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
