OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2014. Incheon Airport held the second 'Meeting of Company Presidents for Phase 3 Construction Project' on 19th followed by the first meeting last year. On the day of meeting, the president & CEO Park Wan-Su and around 50 representatives of each company participating in the Phase 3 project were present.

It was a place for free communication on overall construction project including some safety matters.

Incheon Airport have discussed with the most prominent policy decision-makers on various pending issues for successful implementation of the project, and several improvement matters were drawn. Such effort was to induce active support of the headquarters so that workers can devote themselves to work on site, and it was believed that it is important to solve problems by sharing and communicating the difficulties.

CEO Park Wan-Su addressed that Phase 3 Project is so important that it can be comparable to the second opening of the airport, and he wanted all related parties to freely suggest proposals at any time.

Phase 3 Project is a large-scale construction project to build the second passenger terminal and extend the traffic facilities to connect terminals by the end of 2017, with the budget of 4.9 trillion won in total. Currently, 107 projects and activities in total are under progress without delays, exceeding the expected rate of process.
