OREANDA-NEWS. December 08, 2014. Sberbank of Russia announces that it increased interest rates for individual deposits and savings certificates. For deposits opened at Sberbank branches (“Save”, “Add”, “Manage”) the maximum increase of interest rates was 2.05 percentage points in roubles, and 0.50 percentage points in US dollars and euros.

For deposits opened remotely using the Sberbank Online internet bank, via the Sberbank Online mobile application, and also via Sberbank self-service devices (“Save Online”, “Add Online”, “Manage Online”) the maximum increase of interest rates was 2.10 percentage points in roubles, and 0.50 percentage points in US dollars and euros. Interest rates for online deposits are higher than those of the basic line of deposits (“Save”, “Add”, “Manage”) by up to 0.30 percentage points in roubles and 0.25 percentage points in US dollars and euros.

For savings certificates the maximum increase of interest rates was 1.75 percentage points in roubles. Now the maximum interest rate for a savings certificate is 12% per annum.

For the “Multicurrency” deposit the maximum increase of interest rates was 1.60 percentage points in roubles, and 0.95 percentage points in US dollars and euros.

For the “Gift of Life” deposit the maximum increase of interest rates was 2.25 percentage points in roubles. Now the maximum interest rate for this deposit is 8.65% per annum.

In addition, Sberbank is increasing the interest rates of its premium deposits for affluent clients.

For the “Special Add” and “Special Manage” deposits opened under the Sberbank Premier services package, the maximum increase of interest rates was 2.10% in roubles, and 0.55% in US dollars and euros.

For the “Leader Add” and “Leader Manage” deposits opened under the Sberbank First services package, the maximum increase of interest rates was 2.15% in roubles, and 0.60% in US dollars and euros.

For the “Premium Add” and “Premium Special” deposits the maximum increase of interest rates was 2.05% in roubles, and 0.50% in US dollars and euros.
