OREANDA-NEWS. December 08, 2014. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held a regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ukimet Uiy, where improvement issues of the Global Competitiveness Index of Kazakhstan on indicators, assigned to the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Internal Affairs were considered.

"Currently, the agency has outlined a set of targeted measures to improve the country's position in the GIC ranking. First of all, provision of complete registration and crime reports accounting, optimization, automation and shift of licensing and services in electronic format," the head of MIA Kalmukhanbet Kassymov said.  

Vice Minister Zauresh Baimoldina reported on improvement work of the indicators assigned to the Ministry of Justice. They are effectiveness of legislation in challenging administrative regulation, property rights, and effectiveness of legislation in resolving disputes, intellectual property protection.

According to her, the position of Kazakhstan has been improved according to the figures for the last five years. At the same time, the Ministry of Justice proposes to implement a series of measures to further advance our country's GIC rating.

Minister of National Economy Yerbolat Dossayev informed on the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan of socio-economic development of Zhezkazgan, Satpayev and Ulytau districts of Karaganda region for 2012-2017.

"Four arrangements have been completed totaling 23.4 billion tenge in 2012-2013, 306 new jobs have been created. The region has opened two new companies, two facilities of social infrastructure were repaired. Implementation of 57 arrangements has been begun in the amount of 14.4 billion tenge in 2014 of measures initiated, 5 of them have been finished to equip with medical technological equipment of social facilities and infrastructure objects bringing to AIC. The end of another 10 arrangements is expected until the end of the year," said Y.Dossayev.

As Akim of Karaganda Region Nurmukhambet Abdibekov noted, certain results have been achieved within the framework of the Comprehensive Plan in 2014. Thus, industrial production has made 140 billion tenge, agricultural output has increased by 6%, the number of active SMEs have increased, 19 thousand square meters of housing have been put into operation and etc.
