Santander, Cepsa Launch New Credit Card for Businesses
OREANDA-NEWS. December 05, 2014. Santander and Cepsa have joined forces to offer the new credit card Santander Advance Cepsa to businesses and the self-employed, a card that will allow them make all of types of business transactions. The card which will be marketed in the bank's branches.
With this new form of payment, both organisations are providing these groups with the best solutions to control their business expenses, an important saving of between 3 to 6.6% on their fuel expenses, and simplifying the administrative management of their indirect taxes.
Santander Advance Cepsa also gives customers greater flexibility when it comes to managing their finances, as it offers cardholders two means of payment: either in full at the end of each month (with no interest), or deferred.
Professionals and businesses who use it will have access to CEPSA's electronic billing service, which currently enables customers to manage deductions of indirect taxes on their periodic tax assessments. Francisco Fernandez Cue, director of Means of Payment at Banco Santander Espana said, “We are broadening our financial range for businesses and the self-employed with innovative solutions for electronic billing, helping them to also reduce one of their principal costs: fuel”.
Santiago Ruiz, director of the CEPSA Service Stations Network, added that, “With this card we are responding to the current needs of the self-employed, SMEs and businesses. These groups will benefit from better prices at our service stations, and access to credit”.
Santander Advance Cepsa is part of the Santander Advance initiative the bank launched in April, with the aim of making the bank a go-to partner for businesses, with an improved range of financing, training and international products.
