OREANDA-NEWS. The government of Belarus has expanded the list of bakeries and fodder plants which will get compensation of interest for their existing loans. The total value of such loans grew 3.9% to Br 690.15 billion (EUR 12.707 million).

The loans were issued by Belarusbank and Belagroprombank in 2011-2013 within the framework of the state-sponsored agriculture support program which currently covers 29 beneficiary companies.

Borisov Bakery will get a 100% compensation of interest related to its Br20 billion loan issued by Belarusbank. The burden of compensation falls on the same bank.

Other new beneficiaries of the program include Krynichnaya experimental base (a loan of Br5.285 billion, 100% compensation of interest) and Vileyka Fodder Plant (Br601.1 million, 50% compensation of interest). Ten agricultural enterprises in Brest Region will get 50% compensation of interest on their loans.
