OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2014. CTC Media, Inc. (CTC Media, or the “Company") (NASDAQ: CTCM), a leading Russian independent media company, has announced the appointment of Maxim Bobin as a Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Bobin will be responsible for the Company’s legal affairs and for the coordination of the Company's potential responses to the recent amendments to the Russian law “On Mass Media,” which will impose further restrictions on foreign ownership of media businesses in Russia, as well as for the Company’s restructuring activities. Mr. Bobin will report directly to CTC Media CEO Yuliana Slashcheva.

Biography of Maxim Bobin
Maxim Bobin is a MGIMO graduate and has worked in the legal profession since 1994. Maxim Bobin has previously served as the Head of Legal for LUKOIL Lubricants Co, Carlo Pazolini Group, Mail.Ru, and NCH Advisors, Inc. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Volgatelekom and Sibirtelecom. Mr Bobin has a doctrorate degree in Juridical Sciences. He is the author of several publications on the legal aspects of international organizations’ activities.
