OREANDA-NEWS. FIFA referee Ravshan Ermatov has been for the fifth time acknowledged as the best referee in Asia.

The AFC will announce the winner in this nomination at the gala ceremony in Manila, Philippines, on 30 November 2014.

The shortlist of nominates in the category includes Ravshan Irmatov, Alireza Mohammad Faghani (Iran) and Nawaf Abdulla Ghayyath Shukralla (Bahrain).

It is worth to mention that Ravshan Irmatov was named the best Asian referee from 2008 to 2011. This is record as nobody was able to win the award five times in a row.
