Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu discusses major Delhi developmental issues

On the issue of resolving water supply problem in Dwarka , further to the talks between the officials of the Governments of NCT of Delhi and Haryana as informed by Shri Jung , Shri Venkaiah Naidu today spoke to Haryana Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar.
Shri Najib Jung informed that allocation of dwelling units built for the weaker sections and poor under JNNURM will commence and will be completed by February next year. There are about 20,000 such houses to be allotted to the eligible beneficiaries. He further said that Delhi Government will soon send its proposals regarding actions to be taken in the matter of regularization of unauthorized colonies.
Shri Jung said that adequate measures have been taken to provide shelter to the homeless under which about 40,000 blankets have been arranged. He said that efforts are being made to ensure availability of water and medical care at night shelters. He informed of the action being taken on various other issues.
