OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2014. In his interview to RIA Novosti, the Premier of Moldova said Moldova’s apple, plum and canned food exports had been growing.

“I must admit that Russian sanctions have helped us. We have started investing in quality, packing and storing technologies. And, of course, the better the quality of the product the higher the price for it is", Iurie Leanca said. According to him, there has not been so much Russian investment in Moldova’s economy, whereas Western investors have been very active on Moldova’s market.

“There have been German and Austrian investments in Moldova’s automobile industry. Of course, our country does not manufacture motor vehicles, but we manufacture automotive spares”, the Premise noted.
