Estonian Entrepreneurs Participated at Finnish Startup Conference
OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2014. Estonian entrepreneurs participated the Finnish startup-investor conference Slush with a delegation led by Prime Minister of Estonia, Mr. Taavi Roivas. Several promising Estonian start-ups came to meet with investors at Slush including start-ups Heelosophy, Fleep, Jobbatical, GoWorkaBit, WellBiome, VTT-TNM, Comfee and Hyperion Tech.
On the morning of November 18th around 90 Estonian entrepreneurs and investors together with Global Friends of Estonia gathered in Helsinki to a Networking Breakfast with the Prime Minister. The event was planned as a kickoff to Slush 2014 and was organized by Enterprise Estonia, Estonian Embassy in Finland and Slush.
Right after the Prime Minister Mr. Roivas spoke on stage together with the Prime Minister of Finland, Mr. Alexander Stubb and the Co-founder and CEO of Rakuten, Mr. Hiroshi Mikitani. The strongest message on stage was given by Prime Minister of Finland when he told that they are about to start integrating the e-governance and e-services of Estonia also in Finland.
Next similar event will take place in Estonia on May 14-15th, 2015 - Latitude59 Networking Conference for globally minded start-ups and investors.
