Moody's Confirms Rosbank, Rusfinance Bank and DeltaCredit Ratings
OREANDA-NEWS. Moody's Investors Service Agency's rating actions confirmed Rosbank, Rusfinance Bank and DeltaCredit ratings, at the same time changing their outlooks from "stable" to "negative".
Societe Generale Group Russian subsidiaries' ratings actually are among the highest ones of Russian issuers, moreover their positions following the recent actions during the H2 2014 has been improved, following worsening of ratings for large banks.
Downgrading reflects the risk that pressure will develop on the Russian banks' loss-absorption capacity, asset quality and profitability, because of deteriorating operation environment in Russia driven by crisis in Ukraine, the slowdown of the Russian economy, and capital flight and restricted access to global wholesale markets for Russian issuers.
Moody's maintains its view of a high probability of support from Societe Generale to the three Russian subsidiaries, because of strategic importance of its Russian operations to the Group.
