OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company prolonged the civil liability insurance contract with Itella LLC, a transport and logistics company. The limit of liability is more than RUB 26 bn.

Pursuant to the terms of the contract, the company is provided with third party liability insurance for the damage caused to property received for warehousing. The insured event under the contract is the occurrence of liability because of an accidental and unforeseen damage to the property of third parties during the provision of logistics services in all the company's warehouses. The insurance coverage is valid throughout the territory of Russia. A special exclusive reinsurance program involving major Western reinsurance companies was designed for this agreement.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has collaborated with Itella LLC in sphere of property insurance for over 17 years.

Itella LLC is a member of Itella Group. The company operates in the Russian market under Itella brand, which it began to develop after the acquisition of the National Logistics Company in 2008. In 2013, the turnover of the company amounted to EUR 1,976.8 m.

Itella in Russia is a logistics provider which offers a full range of logistics services to its clients, including warehousing and transportation services. The total area of the warehouses is 560,000 m2 (including 430,000 m2 in the terminals in the Moscow region, 130,000 m2 in the regions of Russia).
