OREANDA-NEWS. At its 23rd meeting held in London on November 25-28, 2014, the Assembly of the International Mobile Satellite Organization (ITSO) approved the Agreement on Cooperation between Intersputnik and ITSO signed earlier.

Thus, the Agreement took effect to step up cooperation between the two intergovernmental organizations, among other things, by exchanging information of mutual interest, sending IMSO and Intersputnik representatives to attend meetings of the governing bodies as observers, and coordinating the parties' respective standpoints at the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, the International Telecommunication Union, and other specialized UN agencies. Intersputnik Executive Director Victor Veshchunov participated in the meeting of the Assembly.
