OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2014. As it was informed in the National Bureau of statistics, in January-September 2014 the investments for execution of construction works amounted to 5 billion 485,3 million lei, increasing by 5.2% compared with the same period of 2013 and accounted for 52.6% of the total investment. Investments in the equipment and machinery, vehicles amounted to 4 billion 423,1 million lei (462,4% of the total), down by 2%.

Amount of other works and capital costs increased by 6.8% up to 526,8 million lei, accounting for 5% of the total investment in tangible fixed assets for the specified period. At the same time, the share of investments construction works and other works and capital expenditure increased by 1.5% and 0.2%, respectively. The share of investments in equipment and machinery and vehicles decreased by 1.7%. Analysis of the structure of investment by ownership shows that intensification of investment activity was mainly due to the private sector of the national economy. Thus, the economic agents and individuals in the private sector for 9 months of 2014 used 4 billion 573,2 million lei of investments (43,8% of their total volume). In comparison the same period of 2013, their volume decreased by 1%.

The share of the state-owned enterprises accounted for 38.5% of the total investment in the tangible fixed assets. They have used 4 billion 019,5 million lei investments, which is 13.1% more than at the same period of 2013. The investment of foreign enterprises amounted to 807.5 million lei, increasing by 4.4% and amounted to 7.7% of the total investment. Investments of joint ventures amounted to 938,3 million lei, decreasing by 19% and amounted to 9% of the total. In general, the share of joint ventures and foreign enterprises accounted for 1 billion 745,8 million lei (16.7% of the total investment in the country), which is 2.2% less compared to the same period of 2013.

The main sources of financing of investment activity in January-September 2014 were the own funds of economic entities and population, amounting to 6 billion 263,9 million lei (60% of the total). In comparison with the same period of 2013, their volume for 9 months of 2014 decreased by 1.4%. Investments at the expense of budgetary funds amounted to 1 billion 588,7 million lei (15.3% of the total), increasing by 59.4%. Foreign investment declined by 31.2%- up to 442,7 million lei, and their share made up 4.2%.

In the structure of investments by the type of fixed assets the largest share in January-September 2014 accounted for the investments in the equipment and machinery, vehicles - 42,4%- their share declined by 1.7%). The share of investments into construction of buildings and structures amounted to 35% of the total investment, 13.1% in the construction of residential houses and 21.9% - in other buildings and structures. At the same time, the share of investment in the construction of residential buildings decreased by 4.1%, while the share of investments in other buildings and structures grew by 3.7%.
