UkrSibbank Named among TOP-3 Most Resilient
OREANDA-NEWS. UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group was named one of the three most stable banks in the country by the financial web-portal Minfin. Rising four positions up since the beginning of the year, UkrSibbank left behind in the top-ten of the rating five other banks with foreign capital along with two state-owned banks.
The rating features all banks of the first three groups according to the NBU classification, as well as smaller banks with portfolios of retail deposits starting from UAH 1 bn. Experts from investment companies Dragon Capital and ICU, the rating agency Expert Rating and "Ukrainian credit-rating agency, as well as the analytical group Da Vinci AG analyzed stress resistance, investors' trust, asset quality, liquidity, the possibility of external support, inflow of deposits, payment reputation and other factors.
JSC "UkrSibbank" was registered on June 18, 1990. Banking License No. 75 and General License for currency transactions No. 75 issued by the NBU on 05.10.2011. As of 31.10.2014: net assets - UAH 24,750 bn, capital - UAH 1,912 bn, loan and investment portfolio - UAH 16,238 bn, corporate customers' funds - UAH 7,855 bn, individuals' funds - UAH 8,368 bn. The total number of clients is about 2.4 m. The regional network numbers about 500 branches throughout Ukraine; the ATM network - over 1,300. 84.99% of JSC "UkrSibbank" shares are held by BNP Paribas Group; 15% by EBRD.
