St. Petersburg group "World of Packaging" intends to invest 4.06 billion Rubles in the construction in Tatarstan in the SEZ "Alabuga" the third Russian plant with design capacity of 24 thousand tons a year. In addition to plastic packaging (among Group customers there are - Unilever, Henkel, Tikkurila, etc.), the new plant will produce plastic parts for automobile plants of the Volga region, wrote the newspaper "Vedomosti", by citing its sources.

The main plant "World of Packaging" is located in St. Petersburg, there is still a company in Krasnoyarsk. The production of test lot at the plant in "Alabuga" is scheduled for 2015. Prior to 2018, while the plant was built, the capacity will be located on the leased sites (at this stage it will be spent 500 million Rubles) in the industrial park "Synergy" (SEZ "Alabuga"), say sources. Payback period - is 10 years, the majority of investments - is equity. Site selection is explained by the proximity of the supplier: the company buys polypropylene and polyethylene in the Tatar plants.

For the company "World of Packaging" automotive components - is a new direction. The first workshop for the production will be opened at the plant in St. Petersburg today. But deliveries began in November: air ducts, parts of the dashboard are installed in the vehicles manufactured in the plant Nissan. According to sources, the project in Tatarstan is designed for the expansion of cooperation with the alliance Renault-Nissan, controlled the group "AvtoVAZ". The production in St. Petersburg is planned to be expanded.

As the executive director of the agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergei Udalov, said, the access to supplies on the assembly line of company will open a secondary market of automotive components, not only receptive, but also growing.
