Reporting & Election Trade Union Conference Held at TATNEFT
OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2014. The VIIth reporting and election TATNEFT's Trade Union conference was held In Almetyevsk.
Nail Maganov, General Director of JSC TATNEFT, Damir Safiullin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatiana Vodopiyanova, Chairwoman of the Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, Lev Mironov, Chairman of the Russian Neftestroygasprofsoyuz (Oil&Gas Trade Union) and Melik Mirzoyev, Secretary General of the International Confederation of the Oil and Gas Trade Unions attended the event.
The report on the Trade Union Committee activities for the period from 2009 to 2014 was presented by Gumar Yarullin, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of JSC TATNEFT. He pointed out in his report that the collectives of the TATNEFT Group enterprises had ensured successful implementation of the annual production and social programs during the reporting period. The Trade Union Committee's work was aimed at consolidation of labor groups, promoting successful operation of the enterprises collectives of the TATNEFT Group of Companies, protecting social and labor rights of the employees and concluding and executing Collective agreements.
The Collective Agreement of JSC TATNEFT and regulatory acts of the TATNEFT Group of enterprises adopted on the basis of the Company's Collective Agreement had ensured improving the life quality of the employees and retirees.
Ilgiz Khaziev, Chairman of the Audit Commission, reported the results of the Commission's work on analyzing the financial activities of the Trade Union Committee.
Vladimir Fadeev, Head of the Production Department, Deputy Chief Engineer of JSC TATNEFT and Chairman of the JSC TATNEFT's Labor Protection Committee, presented in his report the information on the Committee's activities during the reporting period. The presentations of the other conference' delegates covered the activities of their primary trade union committees in various work areas, interaction with administration and the Trade Union Committee of TATNEFT in execution of statutory tasks and gave an assessment of the JSC TATNEFT's Trade Union Committee activities in the reporting period.
Nail Maganov, General Director, addressed the participants of the of JSC TATNEFT's reporting and election conference. He presented in his speech the key performance indicators of the Company, whose main objective still remains to ensure stable crude oil production. The total crude oil volume produced during the first 9 months of this year amounted to 19.6 million tons. The amount of more than 530 thousand tons of extra-viscous oil was produced at Ashalchinskoye field.
These achievements are to a great extent contributed by application of modern oil recovery enhancement methods, the crude oil production system improvement, introduction of innovative energy-saving technologies, lean production and project management tools.
The Company receives a real return on the Company's projects in the petrochemical and refining industries. A hydrocracking installation was commissioned at TANECO in spring of this year, which allowed bringing to the market a high-quality competitive product: Euro-5 diesel fuel. Shipment of aviation kerosene was started in November.
Commissioning of the TANECO Complex in its final configuration will allow moving to a close-loop crude oil refining cycle and bringing the yield of dark products to zero level. A new stage in the development of the tire industry was outlined as well.
The Company's management will enhance the feedback with the labor collectives including application of new communication resources: a corporate social network and a "hot line" operating in the Company where the employees can report violations, drawbacks and proposals for improvement of the work.
Chairman of the Trade Union Organization and the Trade Union Committee of the Interregional TATNEFT Organization and his deputies were elected for the next five-years' period during the conference. The conference delegates had once again confidence in Gumar Yarullin. Andrey Zimin and Elmira Gazizova were elected Chairman Deputies. The proposed new composition of the Trade Union Committee of 51 union members was adopted unanimously.
The conference also elected the delegates to the VII-th Congress of the Russian Neftestroygasprofsoyuz (Oil&Gas Trade Union) and to the XXVth Report and Election Conference of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, nominated the candidates for the Council of the Russian Neftestroygasprofsoyuz and candidates to the Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, proposed the candidates for the Presidium of the Russian Neftestroygasprofsoyuz and Presidium of the Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The delegates of the conference approved a new version of the JSC TATNEFT Trade Union Organization's Charter with amendments and supplements.
