OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2014. Agro Food-2014 the International exhibition of the gardening, melon and gourd growing, bee-farming and flower-growing has been opened at the Uzkurgazmasavdo Center in Tashkent.

The event was sponsored by Expocontact LLC and Uzbek Center for support entrepreneurship and farm management under assistance of the Ministry of agriculture and water resources, Chamber of commerce and industry, Kamolot youth public movement, Uzvinsanoat-Holding Holding Company, National food manufactures Association and International organizations.

Over 70 farms, agro-firms, bee-farmers and flower-growers, scientific and research institutions, as well as international partners are attended the exhibition.  

Various kinds of fruits and vegetables, melon and gourd, citrus crops, ornamental plants, as well as landscape design technologies, updated greenhouses, solar driers, organic and mineral fertilizers, vine-growing and bee-farming products were presented at the exposition.  

Within Agro Food-2014 scientific and technical conference dedicated to positive experience and transfer of innovative designs by farms took place. There were discussed issues on development of the new technologies in the field of gardening, vegetable growing and bee-farming. Farmers shared with practices on innovation in own farms. Delegates of national and international organizations make presentations of agricultural products production, processing and export.
