OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2014. According to Presidential Resolution number of measures to implement of Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Investors Consortium formed of LUCOIL Oil Company OJSC and Uzbekneftegaz NHC on product share, regarding for Kandym deposits group area, Hauzak and Shodi areas, as well as Kungrad area have been assigned.

On the outcomes of tendering the Consortium, headed by Нyundai Engineering Co., Ltd. (South Korean), was chosen as contractor of equipment delivery, construction of gas-processing factory and Kandym deposits group facility.

Within the framework of document, contracting between South Korean company and LUCOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company LLC on turnkey implementation of aforesaid project to the total worth of 2 billion 662 million USD has been approved.

First queue of Kandym gas-processing factory is to put into operation up July 1, 2018.  Duration of agreement was extended for 7 years. Moreover, entering into long-term call-of agreement with Uztransgaz Company for a term of 10 years aimed at natural gas export was approved.
