OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Moscow has received The Best in Russia/Best.ru award for its public activities in the category of Banks: Events/Projects in the Smart City Development nomination. The award ceremony was held in Gostiny Dvor on 25 November.

The national awardThe Best in Russia/Best.ru is an event recognizing successes of individuals and companies and determining the most significant public achievements of the year in Russia. Award winners are selected following online voting by Expert Council whose membership includes economic and political public figures, politicians, businessmen.

Bank assists in developing smart cities as part of its strategy Bank of Moscow: Captive Bank for Municipal Enterprises. It includes cooperation with the businesses related to support of municipal and regional infrastructures. The Bank's offers enable businesses and local authorities to solve current issues of municipal facilities.

Currently, the Bank of Moscow is financing companies involved in the support of municipal infrastructure in 16 regions. The Bank and middle size businesses have implemented about 100 projects vital for the regions and municipalities during 2014.
