Prudential Financial Names Chief Customer Officer
OREANDA-NEWS. Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE:PRU) announced that it has named Naveen Agarwal to the newly created position of Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. In this role, Agarwal is responsible for the design and execution of an integrated strategy to enhance the customer experience in Prudential's U.S. Businesses.
Agarwal will lead the creation of a broad customer engagement strategy, designed to deliver consistent, meaningful customer experiences and relationships. He will also shape and execute the digital strategy for Prudential's U.S. Businesses. Agarwal, who will join the company in December, will report to Stephen Pelletier, executive vice president and chief operating officer, U.S. Businesses. Argawal will be based at Prudential's headquarters in Newark.
"Naveen's deep experience in sales, marketing and technology will be invaluable as we work toward creating a transformational customer-focused engagement model at Prudential," said Pelletier. "His addition reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences."
Agarwal joins Prudential from Pricelock, a leading online provider of fuel price protection for businesses, where he was CEO. His prior experiences include serving as president of E*TRADE Capital Management where he was responsible for growing the company's mass affluent customer base. He earned an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Varanasi, India.
