OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2014. Norilsk Nickel received the best metallurgy sector report prize at the XVII Annual Report competition and was included into top 10 reports of companies with market capitalization exceeding RUB 100 billion.

The Competition was organized by Moscow Stock Exchange in partnership with Securities Market Magazine. It is one of Russia’s main events of this type with over 149 organizations participating this year. All reports are reviewed by a jury panel consisting of independent experts.

Deputy General Director for GR and IR issues, Andrey Bougrov commented: “annual report is a result of team effort and while the role of our IR department needs to be noted, the report is just a tip of an iceberg that is work of the entire company. I think this award also means that the market recognizes new management's efforts aimed at improving transparency, information disclosure, corporate governance and re-focusing our strategy”.
