OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2014. The Bank of Russia has put the Blizko Payment System operated by Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) on the List of Nationally Significant Payment Systems among the several top-listed payment systems on the market.

The status of a nationally significant payment system will authorize Blizko to operate without having to place a deposit as security with the Bank of Russia.

Blizko’s official recognition as a nationally significant payment system is further proof of its reliability and compliance with the national interests.

“This is a major event for the Blizko Payment System as acknowledgment of our enormous responsibility to our customers buying our services and to our Russian and foreign partners, including the FSUE Post of Russia that has been the most important of them since earlier this year,” said Andrei Laikov, Manager of the Blizko Payment System.
