Net Income of Moldova’s Banking Sector Makes USD59,4 mn in Jan-Oct
OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2014. Against the same period of the past year, it decreased MDL 48.7 million (5.2%). As of the end of October, the biggest incomes were reported by Moldova-Agroindbank – MDL 333.6 million (against MDL 278.5 million reported for last January-October); Moldindconbank – MDL 327.5 million (MDL 239.1 million), Victoriabank – MDL 141.6 million (MDL 207.5 million).
They were followed by Mobiasbanca - Groupe Societe Generale – MDL 87.9 million (against MDL 64.2 million ), Unibank – MDL 38,9 million (MDL 30,2 million ), Energbank –MDL 30.5 million (MDL 44.4 million ), ProCredit Bank – MDL 27.2 million (MDL 16.6 million ), BCR Chisinau –MDL 20.7 million (MDL 4.8 million), FinComBank – MDL 20.5 million (MDL 20.1 million ), Banca Sociala – MDL 10.77 million (MDL 49 million ), EuroCreditBank – MDL 5.million (MDL 5.6 million ), Comertbank – MDL 3,1 million (MDL 5.7 million ), Banca de Economii – MDL 1.44 million (MDL 17.9 million).
Over January-October 2014, losses were reported by the only bank - Eximbank-Gruppo Veneto Banca - and made up MDL 154.3 million. In the same period of the past year, the bank’s losses were MDL 40.1 million. As InfoMarket reported earlier, in 2013 the net profit of banks of Moldova amounted to MDL 1 billion 020.2 million, up 2.3 times or MDL 585.6 million year-on-year.
