ThyssenKrupp Proposes Representatives to Supervisory Board
OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2014. The Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG resolved to propose the following candidates to the Annual General Meeting on January 30, 2015 for election to the Supervisory Board as shareholder representatives:
Dr. Ingrid Hengster, Member of the Executive Board of KfW Bankengruppe
Prof. Hans-Peter Keitel, Vice President of the Federation of German Industries
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Lehner, Member of the Shareholders’ Committee of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA
Rene Obermann, Partner Warburg Pincus (as of 1 January 2015)
Prof. Dr. Bernhard Pellens, Professor of Business Studies and International Accounting, Ruhr University Bochum
Carola v. Schmettow, Member of the Management Board of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG
Carsten Spohr, Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG
Jens Tischendorf, Executive Officer of Cevian Capital AG
Members designated by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation:
Dr. Ralf Nentwig, Member of the Executive Committee of the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation
Dr. Lothar Steinebach, Former member of the Management Board of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA
The designation of Carsten Spohr to the Supervisory Board by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation ends with the close of the Annual General Meeting on January 30, 2015. Should Prof. Lehner be re-elected, it is intended to propose him to the new Supervisory Board as candidate for the Chair of the Supervisory Board.
