Belarus' GDP Raises 1.5% on Year in Jan-Oct 2014
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.5% on the year in January-October 2014 to 620.2 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 57.586 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.
Industrial output in January-October 2014 grew 1.7% on the year to Br556.4 trillion (USD 51.662 billion).
Farm output grew 2.1% to Br116.5 trillion (around USD 10.817 billion).
Belarus' government expects the GDP to expand 3.3% in 2014.
In 2013, Belarus' GDP grew 0.9% on the year to 636.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 59.127 billion). The government had planned to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.
