OREANDA-NEWS. At Uralhimmash OJSC six sets of natural gas air coolers АВГ-120МГ/3-9-2-С УХЛ1 were produced. These devices are designed for one of the companies that belong to Gazprom OJSC. Three sets have already been delivered to the Customer and the remaining three will be shipped before November 17, 2014.

Pipe riffles forming conveyer was put into operation in the Boiler Production Shop № 23 of Uralhimmash OJSC especially to implement this order.

Pipe riffles forming line consists of a mill to load and supply pipes and blanks and also the unit itself for pipes swaging and forming riffles. The shop can work at very high efficiency and according to the opinions of the factory specialists the line can produce about 600-700 pipes per week.

The Natural Gas Air Coolers (АВО) have been produced at Uralhimmash since the end of 90s up to 2003. Later when the demand for this product dropped, it was decided to stop the production. In the mid of 2013, the company decided to include this equipment in the range of its products: recently, there has been a steady increase in the demand for such devices. Currently the factory can produce the whole range of this equipment, such as АВО-АВГ, АВЗ, АВМ.

Note: Pipe riffles forming line is designed to manufacture finned pipes with different finned surface factors, the length can be up to 12 m. Finned pipe is produced of aluminum and can be used in the Natural Gas Air Coolers (АВО, АВГ).

These Natural Gas Air Coolers are designed to cool and condense different media and can be used in gas, oil, oil refining and chemical industries.

The Natural Gas Air Coolers are used in the Compressor Stations (CS) of the Gas Pipelines. When the gas is compressed at the CS, its temperature is increased and to prevent the equipment failure, gas should be cooled using Natural Gas Air Coolers. These devices also can be used to increase capacity of gas pipeline.

OJSC Uralhimmash manufactures equipment for petrochemical and oil and gas processing industries, the chemical industry, iron & steel and non-ferrous metallurgy, companies in conventional and nuclear energy generation sectors and for the construction industry. Uralhimmash is certified to manufacture high-pressure vessels as required by the ASME Code (Section VIII, Division 1, Stamp U). In April 2011 Uralhimmash has successfully passed an audit for expansion of the certification area under the ASME Code (Section VIII, Division 2, stamp U2).
