OREANDA-NEWS. Spreader is a machine for removing the overburden rocks or minerals into a disposal area. Normally, the spreader is a part of the conveyer complex that may be a crawler, rail mounted and also of a walking thread type or of a walking thread and rail mounted model and it may be equipped with the receiving and slope dumping consoles.

The Agreement for Manufacture and Supply of about 2480 tons of the spreader equipment was signed by Uralmashzavod and ThyssenKrupp in spring 2013. For Uralmashzavod this was its the first experience to deal with such structures, that is why the factory's specialists organized some preparatory works beforehand. Designers and engineers developed and mounted super precise slab flooring, as well as a special stand, which allowed performing installation works of all the structures at the greatest accuracy.

During the spreader production, all requirements to the production technologies and quality, issued by the German specialists, were completely satisfied. The equipment was successfully tested by the Customer. Now Uralmashzavod is finishing the delivery of the spreader parts.

Currently, Uralmashzavod produces the auxiliary equipment: conveyer systems, tippers and crushing stations.
