OREANDA-NEWS. On November 21, 2014, a delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thurgau (Switzerland) visited the head office of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE). In the course of the visit, the representatives of the Swiss business community got familiar with BUCE's activity and peculiarities of exchange trade in the Republic of Belarus. They also discussed the possibility of using BUCE's electronic system for purchasing metal products.

The Swiss businessmen were interested to learn about BUCE's capabilities in the field of exchange logistics. Thus, there are plans to register a new exchange warehouse in Frauenfeld (Switzerland), which will enable Swiss companies to conclude exchange transactions with the option to deliver the purchased goods on DAT, DAP, FAS, FOB (exchange warehouse) terms without intermediaries thus minimizing the transportation costs.

In conclusion of the talks, the members of the Swiss delegation expressed interest in establishing close cooperation with the first step being to register their companies at BUCE's trading platform.
