OREANDA-NEWS. American Airlines will give customers another choice for trans-Atlantic travel when it launches new daily daytime service from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) on March 29, 2015.

The new flight complements American's existing PHL-LHR service and underscores the airline's commitment to serving Philadelphia and creating the best network in the world with the most convenient options to get customers where they want to go.

"We have flown from Philadelphia to London for 15 years and customers traveling through our PHL hub have unrivaled access to hundreds of destinations in the United States, Europe and beyond."

American's second PHL-LHR flight will provide a convenient daytime departure option for customers connecting from airports along the East Coast, further cementing American and British Airways as the top choice for travel from the U.S. to London.
