OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' exports of milk and condensed cream reduced 20.3% year on year in January-September 2014 to USD 531.227 million, Belstat said in a report.

In quantitative terms, Belarus exports of milk and condensed cream reduced 25.6% year on year to 141,500 tonnes.

Belarus' re-exported to Russia 790 tonnes of milk and condensed cream, grew 4.8 times in quantitative terms; up 4.7 times in value terms to USD 3.262 million. Re-exported products accounted for 0.6% of total exports (quantity), 0.6% (value).

At the same time, milk and cream exports (non-condensed) grew 19.4% year on year in January-September 2014 to USD 206.572 million; 236,500 tonnes (up 10.3%). Russia: 232,500 tonnes (up 12.3%) USD 203. 146 million (up 21.5%).

Exports of cheese and cottage cheese grew 18.1% to USD 563.601 million; 113,900 tonnes (up 6.6%). Russia: 111,800 tonnes (up 8.1%) worth USD 552.624 (up 19.9%).

The share of re-exported cheese and cottage cheese grew 9.8 times year on year to 1,579 tonnes (1.4%), USD 10.453 million, up 15 times to 1.9%.

Belarus' butter exports stood at 50,100 tonnes (down 5.8%) worth USD 269.5 million (down 0.5%); re-export - 286 tonnes. The share of re-exported butter grew 3.4 times year on year to 0.5% (USD 1.307 million).

Belarus' export of yogurt and kefir - 61,500 tonnes (up 11.7%) worth USD 92.239 million (up 21.7%), ice cream - 3,151 tonnes (up 14.3%) worth USD 14.47 million (up 23.6%).
