OREANDA-NEWS. The Latvian airline airBaltic has achieved the best arrival punctuality indicator in October among low cost carriers, according to FlightStats analysts, who track the performance of nearly 150,000 flights operated and serviced by thousands of airlines and airports globally each day.

Martin Sedlacky, Chief Operations Officer of airBaltic: "Our leading punctuality results exemplify airBaltic's dedication to our customers, to maintaining our high quality of service, and highlight the importance of smooth and efficient operations."

In October, airBaltic achieved 95.26% in arrival punctuality, meaning that 95 out of 100 aircraft landed on schedule or ahead of schedule.

airBaltic was the first airline in Europe in 2009, that introduced an early arrival guarantee. This warranty offers additional benefits in the rare cases where a delay has occurred.
