OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2014. Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Poland for over 9 months of 2014 amounted to about 1 billion dollars. Such data has been announced by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Rapil Zhoshybayev at the Kazakh-Polish business forum in Astana.

"According to the results of nine months of the current year, the total turnover of Kazakhstan amounted to about 77 billion dollars. At the same time, bilateral trade with Poland took a little more than 1 percent of the volume and made almost a billion dollars," he said.

As R. Zhoshybayev noted a number of projects with Polish companies in the field of building materials, agriculture and processing of agricultural products, on the implementation of environmental projects in the energy and chemical industries are successfully being promoted today.

"We hope that the ranks of Polish investors will be replenished soon. I urge the Polish companies to active cooperation in the framework of EXPO 2017," Deputy Minister concluded.
