OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2014. Minister of National Economy Yerbolat Dossayev has met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Poland Janusz Piechocinski.

The sides discussed issues of trade and economic relations, as well as the prospects for the development of investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland.

"Poland is a promising economic partner of Kazakhstan in Eastern Europe. Kazakhstan sees Poland as a window to the EU market," Yerbolat Dossayev said.

"The Government of Kazakhstan adopted a new package of incentives to attract foreign direct investment," Minister said and stressed that "under orders of the President of Kazakhstan, announce in the Address "Nyrly Zhol", work on a number of investment projects will be intensified."

Turnover for January-September 2014 amounted to USD777.7 million.
